Features

  • Geodesic geometry – Geodesic domes require little or no external guying thereby reducing the clutter and congestion of multiple guy points, while eliminating internal poles that clutter the interior space.
  • Spherical dome shape – the most efficient shape in terms of the ratio of interior volume to surface area. A spherical shape provides for the least surface area to volume of any shape. This translates into lower weight, more thermal efficiency (less surface area to lose or gain heat), and lower cost. The spherical shape also performs better in the wind than almost any other shape especially wall type tents.
  • Patent Pending Uni-Strut system – Thirty-one identical struts make set-up simple and fast for one person. It is nearly impossible to insert the struts incorrectly. The only additional components to install are the 6 short awning struts that are also all identical to each other.
  • Injection molded hubs – High-strength plastic hubs perform well in extreme environments, and the snap-in strut slots make set-up simple and fast.

  • High-strength pultruded fiberglass struts are virtually unbreakable, have little or no aftermarket value (to reduce pilferage), are low in environmental impact in manufacturing, are unaffected by long term weathering (especially when covered by flysheet) and perform well in a broad range of extreme temperature and environmental conditions.
  • Interior partition allows privacy among occupants.
  • UV treated polyester fabrics for high strength and long term exposure.
  • Awning over door/windows provides for ventilation in rain or snow.
  • Vestibule supported by 12 mm shock-corded fiberglass pole.
  • Opening opposite vestibule redesigned for increased protection from the elements in extreme weather conditions.

Winterization Kit Accessories (WKA)

  • Breathable quilted liner when installed, provides a heavy 3rd layer for increased insulation.
  • The Chimney Pipe Hole Kit can be installed in any place of the extended vestibule. It is recommended to pass the pipe through a vertical part instead of the roof, to avoid rail
    leakage within the vestibule.
